Docking my MacBook used to mean juggling adapters, but this little hub replaced all of them. The seven ports cover everything I need, and it's slim enough to just live in my bag. Passthrough charging works while I've got an external drive and monitor hooked up.
The seven ports mean I can finally plug in my monitor, SD card, and charger all at once without swapping cables every five minutes. It's slim enough that it doesn't wobble on my desk when the MacBook's propped up, and the HDMI output held a clean 4K signal all day.
Was worried about dongle life with my MacBook but this has basically everything I need in one little stick. The HDMI out pushes 4K to my monitor without any lag, and the SD card slot saved me on a shoot last week. It gets a touch warm under load but nothing alarming.
